American Chopsuey is very famous and tasty Chinese dish and we can feel its amazing taste from its picture and method. It is actually rich dish with both vegetation and non-vegetarian combination. It can be used as the special item for dinner time. I like Chicken Chinese dishes very much.
Preparation Time - 20 Minutes
Cooking Time - 30 Minutes
Noodles - 500 gm
Boneless Chicken - 300 gm
Chopped Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Garlic - 1 teaspoon
Onion - 1
Carrot - 1
French Beans - 2
Cabbage (1 small) - 1
Red Capsicum - 1
Tomato - 2
White Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Tomato Sauce - 3 tab spoon
Corn Flour - 2 tab spoon
Chicken Stock - 1 Cup
Vinegar - 1 tab spoon
Sugar - 1 tab spoon
Vegetable Oil - 1/2 Cup
Egg - 1
Salt - To Taste
Water - Required for cooking.
- Pour Water in a pan and boil it well.
- Add Salt and Noodles into this and cook it for 3 minutes and drain Water completely and keep Noodles aside.
- Heat a pan and heat Vegetable Oil in it and add Noodles to this and fry it until Golden Brown colour and keep it aside.
- Cut Boneless Chicken lengthy and wash it well.
- Remove the peel of Onion and wash well and cut it as big pieces.
- Add Corn Flour in Water and mix well and make solution.
- Wash Carrot, French Beans and Cabbage well and chop it.
- Wash Red Capsicum and Tomato well and cut it little bit big and thin.
- Heat another pan and pour a little Oil and heat well.
- Add chopped Ginger and chopped Garlic and fry it.
- Then add pieces of Onion and Salt and saute well.
- Add chopped Carrot, chopped French Beans and chopped Cabbage into this and saute well.
- Then add Red Capsicum and saute all for 2 minutes.
- Then add Tomato pieces and mix well.
- Add White Pepper Powder into this and mix well.
- Then add Boneless Chicken into this and mix well.
- Then add Chicken Stock and cover it with lid and cook it well under medium flame.
- To this add Tomato Sauce and mix well.
- Then add Vinegar and Sugar and mix well.
- Finally add Corn Flour solution into this and mix well and make it thick as desired under medium flame. Turn off the fire then.
- Heat a wide pan and heat Vegetable Oil and add Egg into this.
- Add some White Pepper Powder and Salt on this and cook it under low flame and turn off the fire.
- In a serving dish, add fried Noodles and add cooked Chicken mixture.
- Then keep fried Egg and serve it fresh. ( serve it as shown in the picture).
- You can choose Vegetable Noodles or Egg and Chicken Noodles to make this.
- You can add Spring Onion and Spinach if you need.
- To get good taste add some fresh Green Peas.
- It will be attractive if use different colour Capsicum.
- You can cut Noodles as small pieces as per your taste.
