Coffee is becoming very popular and part of each and every one in their daily day life because its flavour is amazing. So that everyone will like coffee flavour drink or dishes very much. Today, I would like to share very special and tasty coffee jelly. We can get different types of Coffee powder from markets. Coffee will give us instant relief from stress and it is very useful when we tired or coming back from office. We can make some other dishes or dessert by using this coffee powder. May be it well be new for some people.
Coffee Jelly is one of the special, cool and sweet dessert. It is completely variety dessert from other dessert items. Main flavour of this dessert is coffee flavour that is why everyone will like this dessert. I have made this dessert so many times in my house and everyone liked this dessert very much. It is the combination of milk and cornflakes so it will have a variety taste. I have used condensed milk so that we need not to add much more sugar to get more sweets. It is very easy and simple recipe to make at home. Coffee jelly is mainly used by north Indians but its usage is increasing in south India now a days. Milk, fresh cream and condensed milk are giving good taste and creamy effect to this dessert. Its main specialty is that we will get the piece of coffee jelly while we have it. It is one of the favourite dessert for children. I know that almost all people like coffee flavour so this will be the special for each and every one. We can serve it with lunch and dinner and it will be very special to guests also. Coffee flavour will give us some extra energy to reduce our stress and strain. I am sure that everyone will enjoy a lot with this dessert. 

Preparation Time - 5 minutes
Cooking Time - 10 minutes
Ready In - 4 hours


Instant Coffee powder - 2 tab spoon
Sugar - 1 1/2 tab spoon
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Fresh Cream - 2 tab spoon
Gelatin - 1 tab spoon
Ice water - 1 cup
Cornflakes powder - 2 tab spoon

  • Sock gelatin in ice water for 15 minutes and melt it by double boiling.
  • Pour water in a pan and add sugar and stir well until sugar dissolves completely and boil it well.
  • To this add instant coffee powder and make coffee.
  • Then add melted gelatin and mix well.
  • Transfer it to a pudding tray and keep it in refrigerator to set.
  • Then cut it as small pieces and keep it aside.
  • Pour milk in another pan and boil well. 
  • To this add cornflakes powder and stir well.
  • Then add fresh cream and mix well.
  • To this add condensed milk and mix together and leave it for cool.
  • Then add coffee jelly pieces and mix well and serve it in a serving bowl.
  • To get more taste, thickness and energy of body add almond powder and cashew nut powder with milk

Red Cowpeas - 1 Cup
Onion - 1
Green Chilli - 1
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coconut Milk - 1/2 Cup
Coconut Oil - 1 teaspoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Shallots - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Salt - To Taste
Water - As required for cooking


Sock Red Cowpeas in Water overnight and wash it well next day.Peel the skin of Onion and wash well and chop it.Wash Green Chilli and slice it thin and lengthy.Take a pan and put Red Cowpeas, chopped Onion, sliced Green Chilli, some Curry Leaves, Salt and enough Water to cooking and cover it and cook well.Heat a small pan and heat Coconut Oil and splutter Mustard seeds in it.Then add chopped Shallots and Curry Leaves and fry well.Turn down the fire and add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder and Black Pepper Powder and saute well until remove raw smell.Add cooked Red Cowpeas into this and mix well.…

Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Green Chilli - 1
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 2 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Grated Coconut - 1/2 Cup
Coconut Oil - 1 tab spoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Shallots - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Salt - To Taste
Water - Required for cooking


Wash Drumstick well and cut it 1 1/2 half inch lengthy.Peel the skin of Onion and wash well and slice it thin and lengthy.Wash Tomato and chop it.Wash Green Chilli well and slice it lengthy.In a grinder, add Grated Coconut, Cumin Seeds, Salt, some Curry Leaves and enough Water and make thick paste.Heat Coconut Oil in a pan and splutter Mustard Seeds in it.Add chopped Shallots into this and fry it.Then add Curry Leaves and stir well.Add sliced Onion along with Salt and saute well for sometimes.Then add sliced Green Chilli and chopped Tomato and saute well.Add Turmeric …
