  • ROSE APPLE (CHAMBAKKA) WINE
It is very tasty wine and we can make it with very less ingredients. Rose apple will be available in summer season so we can make it in this season and can keep it in for long term. We should be careful while making wine otherwise we won't get exact taste and texture.

Preparation Time - 15 minutes
Ready in - 31 days

Ingredients

Rose apple - 2 kg
Sugar - 1 kg
Chopped ginger - 1 teaspoon
Water - 2 litter
Yeast - 1 teaspoon
Cloves  - 3
Wheat - 1/4 cup

Method
  • Remove the seeds from rose apples and wash it gently and dry it by using clothes and keep it aside.
  • Boil water in a pan and make it cool.
  • Put rose apples in a jar and add half quantity of sugar.
  • To this add cloves, ginger and wheat.
  • Then add reaming sugar on the upper portion.
  • Then pour boiled and cooled water and cover the jar with airtight lid.
  • Then keep it in a dark room for 30 days.
  • Open the jar on 31st day and stir well by using wooden ladle.
  • Then stir it through white cotton cloth and pour it in dark bottles and tight with lid and keep it for long term.
                           
           
Rose Apple Wine

  • TAPIOCA BEEF MIX ( KAPPA BIRIYANI)

Tapioca preparation Time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 20 minutes

Beef preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 35 minutes

Ingredients for Tapioca

Kappa - 2 kg
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Onion - 2
Green Chilli - 2
Garlic - 2
Shallot - 2
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Salt - To taste
Water - As required

Ingredients For Beef

Beef - 1 kg
Onion - 1
Ginger - 1 piece
Garlic - 4
Green chilli -2
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli Powder - 2 tab spoon
Coriander Powder - 3 tab spoon
Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coconut Oil - 1 tab spoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Shallot - 1 Tab spoon
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Salt - to taste
Water - As required

Method To Make Tapioca
  • Remove the peel of tapioca and cut it as medium sized pieces and wash it well.
  • In a pot, add tapioca pieces and pour plenty of water and salt and cook it well.
  • Drain the water completely and keep it aside.
  • Crush grated coconut, turmeric powder, onion, green chilli, garlic, shallot and curry leaves together and keep it aside.
Method to Make Beef
  • Cut beef as small pieces and wash it well and put it in a pan.
  • To this add chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, salt and required water and mix well.
  • Cover the pan with lid and cook it well.
  • In a pan, heat coconut oil and splutter mustard seeds.
  • To this add chopped shallot, curry leaves and salt and stir until fry.
  • To this add cooked beef and mix well.
Method To make Tapioca Beef Mix
  • In a big pot, add half of cooked tapioca and add crushed mixture.
  • Then add cooked beef mixture and add remaining cooked tapioca.
  • Then cover with lid and cook it well.
  • Then mash it well by using wooden ladle and serve it.
 Tips

  • You can make wine without wheat.
  • To get more taste of tapioca beef mix add 2 eggs.
  • Choose good tapioca to make this dish to get the real taste.

Ingredients

Red Cowpeas - 1 Cup
Onion - 1
Green Chilli - 1
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coconut Milk - 1/2 Cup
Coconut Oil - 1 teaspoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Shallots - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Salt - To Taste
Water - As required for cooking

Method

Sock Red Cowpeas in Water overnight and wash it well next day.Peel the skin of Onion and wash well and chop it.Wash Green Chilli and slice it thin and lengthy.Take a pan and put Red Cowpeas, chopped Onion, sliced Green Chilli, some Curry Leaves, Salt and enough Water to cooking and cover it and cook well.Heat a small pan and heat Coconut Oil and splutter Mustard seeds in it.Then add chopped Shallots and Curry Leaves and fry well.Turn down the fire and add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder and Black Pepper Powder and saute well until remove raw smell.Add cooked Red Cowpeas into this and mix well.…
