Apple Banana Smoothie is very good cool drink and it has a creamy effect. It is thick, creamy and very sweet smoothie. Apple and Banana are one of the super combinations and it will be very tasty if we make any dishes by using this combination. We are making a lot of dishes by using only apple and banana. Apple squash, apple juice, apple pudding, apple jam and apple payasam are the main dishes from apple fruit. Banana milk shake, banana squash, fried banana and banana payasam are the main dishes from banana. We can make anther tasty dishes by using this combination such as pudding, salads and payasam. Apple can give water consistent juice but banana can give very thick and cream effect juice. So it will be tastier if we use it together. This two fruits are very good to human body. These two fruits are helping to reduce tiredness, increase the skin glow and increase the hair growth. Both are available on market at any time. Apple is little bit costly fruit but banana is available with reasonable price and also it is cultivating to our houses. I would like to have cool and fresh drinks so I am very much interested to try new recipes by different fruits and variety combinations. This smoothie is suitable in summer season because it has cooling effect that helps to relax and reduce heat from body. It is very useful when we tired and feeling hungry, our stomach will become full if we drink one glass smoothie. This recipe is very special to serve guests or dearest ones. I have made this smoothie in chilled milk so we need to have it immediately after preparation then only we will get that freshness. No need to freeze it again because its freshness will go off and taste also will change. It has the smell of cinnamon powder and cinnamon powder is an excellent combination with apple. Cashew nuts powder and cornflakes provide a variety taste to this smoothie. I have followed a variety method to make this special smoothie. I haven't added any artificial colour and flavour, it is completely a natural and homemade recipe. This recipe is helpful to anyone who is not interested to have fruits especially children. We can make this cool and thick drink very easy at home.

Decoration - Apple, Banana, Cherry and Cornflakes.


Apple - 2
Banana - 2
Chilled Milk - 2 cups
Cashew nuts Powder - 1 teaspoon
Cornflakes - 1/4 cup
Honey - 1 tab spoon
Ice cubes - 2

  • Wash apple well and remove the seeds from apple and cut it as small pieces.
  • Remove the peel of banana and cut it as small pieces.
  • In a blender, add apple pieces and banana pieces.
  • To this pour chilled milk, add cashew nut powder, cornflakes, cinnamon powder and ice cubes.
  • Blend it well until thick, smooth and frothy.
  • Pour it in a bowl and add honey and mix it well.
  • Pour this smoothie in a serving glass and decorate with apple pieces, banana pieces, cornflakes and cherry and serve it with freshness.
  • You can make it in chilled yogurt.
  • To get sweet use sugar or condensed milk instead of honey.
  • To get more smell and taste use one pinch cardamom powder.

Red Cowpeas - 1 Cup
Onion - 1
Green Chilli - 1
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coconut Milk - 1/2 Cup
Coconut Oil - 1 teaspoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Shallots - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Salt - To Taste
Water - As required for cooking


Sock Red Cowpeas in Water overnight and wash it well next day.Peel the skin of Onion and wash well and chop it.Wash Green Chilli and slice it thin and lengthy.Take a pan and put Red Cowpeas, chopped Onion, sliced Green Chilli, some Curry Leaves, Salt and enough Water to cooking and cover it and cook well.Heat a small pan and heat Coconut Oil and splutter Mustard seeds in it.Then add chopped Shallots and Curry Leaves and fry well.Turn down the fire and add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder and Black Pepper Powder and saute well until remove raw smell.Add cooked Red Cowpeas into this and mix well.…
