APPLE JUICE

Apple is very healthy fruit and it will be very good to body if we have it on daily basis. It contains a lot of vitamins such as vitamin A, C and K. It is very good to eyes and heart and it is scientifically proved. In Kerala, some places like Munnar is cultivating apple. Some people are cultivating apple in flats. It will be available in shops at any season but its price is little high comparing other fruits so that normal people can't afford it on daily basis. We can make a lot of variety and tasty dishes by using apple. Apple milk shake, apple cake, apple pickle, apple salads, apple squash and apple jam are the main and famous items. But apple juice is the common and easy recipe to make at home. Almost everyone knows about this juice. We need not to add more ingredients to make this juice. If we have apple juice on daily basis skin glow will increase, increasing the skin colour, preventing ageing problem and also increasing immunity power of the body. Apple juice is very cool juice because we are using ice water to make this so it will have the freshness after preparation. We need not to keep it in freezer again to make it cool. We have to drink immediately after preparation otherwise its freshness will go off. I have used natural ingredients to make this juice and used honey to get sweet so it is very good to health. Cinnamon powder is an excellent combination with apple and we will get a special and variety flavour if we use cinnamon powder so I used it in this juice so it will have the special and variety taste. Apple doesn't have smell to impress so cinnamon powder gives an attractive smell. I was not using this powder first time so it was not that much effective. Then I found out this tip to impress others and its taste is really amazing. Apple juice is a clear juice and it has a clear colour. This juice is available in cool bars and restaurants with high price. We can make a very healthy juice from home. It is suitable for any time and season but also it is very helpful when we tired and summer season. It will cool our body very fast. It is very easy health drink and beneficial to everyone.

Preparation Time - 5 minutes

Ingredients

Apple - 2
Ice Water - 1 cup
Cinnamon Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Honey - 2 tab spoon

Method
  • Wash apple gently and remove the seeds from inside and cut it as small pieces.
  • Put it in a blender and pour ice water.
  • Then add cinnamon powder to this and blend it well.
  • Strain the juice through strainer.
  • Add honey to this and mix well.
  • Pour it in a serving glass and decorate with apple piece and serve it.
Tips
  • To get more healthy juice use normal water.
  • Use sugar to get sweet.
  • For diabetic patients avoid sweet.
  • To get more freshness use mint leaves.

RED COWPEAS COCONUT MILK STIR FRY

Preparation Time - 10 Minutes Cooking Time - 25 Minutes Ingredients Red Cowpeas - 1 Cup Onion - 1 Green Chilli - 1 Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon Coconut Milk - 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil - 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon Chopped Shallots - 1 teaspoon Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs Salt - To Taste Water - As required for cooking Method Sock Red Cowpeas in Water overnight and wash it well next day. Peel the skin of Onion and wash well and chop it. Wash Green Chilli and slice it thin and lengthy.
