Preparation Time - 5 Minutes
Cooking Time - 10 Minutes


Rose Apple - 250 gm
Chopped Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Garlic - 1 teaspoon
Green Chilli - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Vinegar - 1/4 Cup
Sesame Oil - 1 tab spoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Salt - To Taste


  • Wash Rose Apple well and remove seeds from inside and cut it as small pieces and make it dry.
  • Wash Green Chilli well and chop it.
  • Heat a pan and heat Sesame Oil in it and splutter Mustard Seeds.
  • Then add chopped Ginger and chopped Garlic and fry well.
  • Add chopped Green Chilli into this and fry.
  • Add Curry Leaves to this and fry it.
  • Turn down the fire and add Turmeric Powder and Red Chilli Powder and saute well until remove raw smell.
  • To this add washed and dried Rose Apple pieces along with Vinegar and enough Salt and mix well.
  • Cover it and cook it for 5 minutes and turn off the fire.
  • Mix it well and serve it in a serving bowl with hot plain Rice for lunch and dinner.
  • Use any vegetable oil instead Sesame Oil.
  • To get good taste and smell use more quantity of Garlic and Ginger.
  • You can add some Fenugreek Powder to get good smell and taste.
  • To store it for long Time keep it in a dried bottle.
