WHITE CHICKPEAS STIR FRY

Preparation Time - 15 Minutes
Cooking Time - 30 Minutes

Ingredients

Dry White Chickpeas - 250 gm
Chopped Garlic - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Onion - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala Powder - 1 teaspoon
Lime Juice - 1 teaspoon
Vegetable Oil - 1 tab spoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chopped Shallots - 1 teaspoon
Salt - To Taste
Water - As required for cooking.

Method
Sock Dry White Chickpeas in water and leave it overnight and wash well next day morning.Peel Onion and wash it well and slice it thin and lengthy.In a pressure cooker, add White Chickpeas, sliced Onion, Salt and enough Water and cover it and cook it well and keep it aside.Heat a pan and heat Vegetable Oil and splutter Mustard Seeds.Then add chopped Ginger and chopped Garlic and fry well.To this add chopped Shallots and fry well.Turn down the fire and add Turmeric Powder and Red Chilli Powder and saute well until remove raw smell.Then add cooked White Chickpeas and mix wel…

SPICY SARDINE FISH FRY

Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes

Ingredients

Sardine Fish - 1/2 Kg
Garlic Paste - 1 teaspoon
Ginger Paste - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder - 1 teaspoon
Bird's Eye Chilli Paste - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves Paste - 1 teaspoon
Coconut Oil - As required for cooking
Salt - To Taste
Water - As Required for cooking

Method
Clean Sardine Fish well and remove both head and tail and wash well for 3 or 4 times and make slit on both sides and keep it aside.In a small bowl, add Garlic Paste, Ginger Paste, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Bird's Eye Chilli Paste and Curry leaves paste and make it thick paste with Salt and Water.Marinate Fish with this paste and leave it for sometimes.Heat a frying pan and pour some Coconut Oil and keep Fish on the pan and pour some Coconut Oil on the fish and fry both sides under medium flame.Turn off the fire and serve it in a serving bowl with hot Rice.
